Darren and Melissa Lewis from Fathering Adventures are here facilitating a Dad & Daughter Adventure Weekend program at MVR for the first time! It's great to have Dads & Daughters here at the Ranch from all over Victoria and interstate, spending some quality time together. Last weekend the Fathering Adventures team held their Father Son Adventure Weekend and to do back to back weekends with these guys has been fantastic!
Here are some expert archers from this morning's session.
After lots of work upgrading the arenas with new posts and rails we also added some much needed sand to soften up the surface for the horses. These additions have brought fantastic comments from schools that have been coming to MVR for many years along with encouraging comments from parents and Ranchers.
In order to maintain this new sand for longevity and usability we do need to purchase a proper arena rake. The old worn out paddock harrows just don't do the job. This is the particular rake we see as suitable for our needs and are seeking donations to help in the purchase of this item. The full price of the rake is just under $2000.00.
